Black Economic Empowerment (BEE)


HHD Tech is proudly a 100% black owned and 100% black women owned EME, with hands on executive involvement from the shareholders. HHD Tech has attained a Level 1 rating on the requirements under the Codes of Good Practice, as revised in October 2013.

As a Level 1 contributor, we are able to offer our clients enhanced procurement recognition at a rate of 135%. This has the effect of our clients claiming R1.35 of BEE spend for each R1 spent through HHD Tech. In addition, our valued clients are able to claim procurement recognition under the Revised Codes in each of the following sub elements under the Revised Codes:
  • Spend with Empowering Suppliers;
  • Spend with EMEs;
  • Spend with majority black owned suppliers; and
  • Spend with at least 30% black women owned suppliers.
This recognition has the effect of affording our clients the opportunity to maximise their benefit from procuring through HHD Tech in multiple sub-elements of the Enterprise and Supplier Development element under the Revised Codes, thereby enhancing the benefit from each R1 spent through HHD Tech.
